Professor Martin Booth is Professor of Engineering Science and leads the Dynamic Optics and Photonics Group at the Department of Engineering Science. His research interests centre on the development of new dynamic optical methods for applications ranging from biomedical imaging to laser-based manufacturing. His interests in quantum technology lie in the development of photonics devices and systems, including the manufacture of diamond-based devices incorporating colour centres and waveguide circuits. He has further interest in the manipulation and application of complex vectorial states of light.
